Bookie's Pizza is one of the best pizza spots in Santa Cruz and for St. Patrick's Day they are doing something nobody else is doing.
A corned beef and cabbage pizza.
Only 100 are being made. That is it.
What's On It
House made mustard white sauce as the base. Brick cheese corner to corner for that signature Detroit crust. Mozzarella in the middle. Cabbage. Crispy potatoes. House made corned beef baked right in.
Then pulled out of the oven and topped with crispy fried cabbage and parsley.
This is a St. Patrick's Day plate turned into a Detroit style pizza and it works on every level. Chef Todd Parker does not miss and this one is no different.
