The Best Burgers in Watsonville: Episode 2 — The Surf and Turf Burger

We are back. Episode 2 of finding the best burgers in Watsonville and this one raised the bar completely.

High End Comida is one of the best food trucks in Santa Cruz County. Chef George is a creator and architect in the kitchen and this burger proves it.

The Surf and Turf Burger

Guacamole, bacon, prawns, ribeye, and three cheeses. All on top of a smashed patty with his special sauce.

That is not a typo. Prawns and ribeye on the same burger. Three cheeses. Guacamole. Bacon.

Chef George calls it a burger. We are calling it an experience.

This thing demands your full attention. Get gloves. Bring napkins. Clear your schedule.

Every ingredient has a reason to be there and somehow it all works together. The richness of the ribeye, the sweetness of the prawns, the creaminess of the guacamole. Nothing fights for attention. Everything delivers.

Where to Find It

High End Comida is parked at 11 Hangar Way at the Hook Outlet in Watsonville. One of the best spots for food trucks in the county and Chef George is a big reason why.

Two episodes down. Two burgers left.

Stay tuned.
