Izzy's Ices Is Now Serving Authentic New York Pizza
You already know Izzy's Ices for the handmade Italian ice. Dairy-free, 75+ rotating flavors, and Queens NYC roots baked into everything they do. That's still the main event at 106 Lincoln St in downtown Santa Cruz.
But now the owner is doing something else. Something nobody saw coming.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, he's serving authentic New York pizza out of the same shop. Slices and whole pies, made the way he grew up eating them in Queens. This isn't a side project. This is a guy from New York who knows what a real slice tastes like and got tired of not having one in Santa Cruz.
Six Combinations.

The menu runs six different pizza combinations and each one has a reason to exist.
Pepperoni With Hot Honey: the crowd favorite and once you try it you'll understand. The hot honey brings a sweetness that hits right after the heat of the pepperoni. It's the kind of slice that makes you order another before you've finished the first.
Creamy Spinach And Garlic: the vegetarian option and it's not playing around. Rich, garlicky, and loaded with flavor. It doesn't taste like a compromise. It tastes like someone actually put thought into it.
Beyond those two, there are four more combinations on the menu covering meat lovers, classics, and everything in between. Enough variety that you'll want to come back on the next Tuesday just to work through the rest.
