Our Top 3 Breakfast Burritos in Santa Cruz, Ranked
We ranked the best breakfast burritos in Santa Cruz. Three spots. One list. Here it is.
#3 — The Point Market
Three locations across Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley.
Order the Its and add carne asada. It already has turkey, ham, and bacon in it. The carne asada takes it somewhere else entirely. This is a burrito built for meat lovers and it delivers every time.
DMP tip: Let it sit for a minute after you get it. The cheese needs time to melt. Trust the process.
#2 — Cat and Cloud Coffee
@catcloudcoffee | 215 Swift St, Santa Cruz
One of the best specialty coffee roasters in Santa Cruz and their breakfast burrito earns its own reputation.
Order the Breakfast Burrito. Not the other one. The original. It is only available at the Swift Street location so you have to make the trip. It is worth it.
DMP tip: Get extra tomatillo salsa. And grab a creamy beige drink while you are there.
#1 — Busy Bees Cafe

This one is personal.
We worked with Chef Ty for a while to develop the DMP Biscuits and Gravy collab and getting the ratio right took time. It was worth every iteration.
Biscuits made in house. Gravy made in house. Crispy bacon. A little honey.
It is unlike anything else on this list or anywhere else in Santa Cruz County. Busy Bees is already known for their Benedict burrito which is excellent, but this is the one that takes the top spot.
